Alice+Olivia 2If piecing together separates isn’t your strong suit, a coordinating ensemble is the perfect answer. It’s the easiest way to create a complete look with minimum effort whatsoever. Plus, contrary to popular belief, a matching set can be quite versatile when you switch up a few of the details. Take my outfit for instance, I could wear it as is or I could break up the duo and pair the skirt with a basic turtleneck and booties for an entirely different look. Needless to say, the options are limitless!

On a different note… Every September our local TJ Maxx (the Buckhead location) hosts a runway event to launch their fall designer collections and as much as I hate to admit it I feel like a little kid on Christmas morning in anticipation of it tonight. The store gets in special product for this specific occasion each and every fall and if it’s anything like the previous years, it’s totally worth going to. Last year, boots and sweaters were the steal of the event. I’m hoping that holds true again tonight – I’ll be sure to keep you posted if I score anything worth while!
