As you know, I went to Mexico with some of my blogger friends a few weeks ago so I wanted to do a review on the hotel. It was so great to meet the girls who I have been friends with on Instagram for so long in real life! I seriously had the best time and am so grateful for our few days in Mexico!

Hotel: The hotel is absolutely GORGEOUS! It’s located in the Riviera Maya and is about 45 minutes from Cancun. The grounds were stunning – from the beautiful decor to the perfectly manicured lawns to everything in between, it simply was impeccable. The rooms were large and the bathrooms were even more gigantic. I felt like I was at spa every time I got ready! From the moment we stepped on the property to the time we left, I was absolutely blown away by the amazing service and the friendly staff. They were beyond accommodating and made ¬†us feel so welcomed.

Food: The hotel is all-inclusive and I know sometimes their can be a stigma attached with ‘all-inclusive’ hotels but I promise you, the food at the Grand Velas was AMAZING! I’m a foodie and can be rather critical when it comes to food but was still insanely impressed with every meal. My favorite meal of the day was breakfast; the spread was endless. The drinks were phenomenal and the liquor was top shelf. Needless to say, we never went thirsty/hungry!

Pools/Beach: I still can’t decide if I liked the beach or the pools more because they both were seriously so dreamy! The beach had the most beautiful white sand and crystal blue water which was so perfect for sunbathing. The hotel has three pools; one in the ‘jungle’ part of the hotel, and two in the main part. All of the pools had swim up bars and were surrounded by the most luxurious daybeds. One of the pools was adults only which was great for honeymooners and people without kids. At all of the pools the staff was so incredible and constantly made sure your drink was fresh and your stomach was full. It seriously was a dream!

All in all, I can’t recommend Grand Velas enough. It exceeded my expectations by miles and is a place I will definitely be visiting again in the future. If you have any questions, please ask!
